Welcome to Dataverse ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our data bundle sales platform and wallet services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Agent" refers to a registered user who utilizes our platform to create a storefront and sell products to Customers.
  • "Customer" refers to an individual who purchases products or services through an Agents storefront.
  • "User" refers to both Agents and Customers.
  • "Wallet" refers to the digital wallet provided to Agents for accruing commissions.

2. Agent Accounts & Responsibilities

  • Registration: To become an Agent, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Storefront Content: You are solely responsible for the content you upload for your storefront, including your company name, logo, tagline, and WhatsApp details. You warrant that you have the right to use any content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • Pricing: Agents are permitted to set their own selling prices for products. However, you agree not to engage in predatory pricing or violate any pricing guidelines set by the platform.
  • Customer Service: As an Agent, you are the first point of contact for your Customers. You are responsible for providing reasonable support regarding their purchases made through your link.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: Customers agree to provide accurate information, including the correct beneficiary phone number for data bundle delivery and a valid mobile money number for payment. We are not responsible for bundles sent to an incorrect number provided by the Customer.
  • Payment: All payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway, Moolre. You agree to their terms when making a payment.

4. Payments, Commissions, and Withdrawals

  • Commissions: Agents earn a commission on qualifying sales, calculated as the difference between the Agent's selling price and the wholesale cost set by the platform. Commissions are credited to the Agent's Wallet upon successful completion of a transaction.
  • Wallet Withdrawals: Agents may request to withdraw funds from their Wallet to a valid mobile money account. We will process withdrawal requests in a timely manner, but we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers.
  • Transaction Finality: All completed transactions and withdrawals are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the platform.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our express permission.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  • For Agents: Personal identification information (Name, Email, User ID), Storefront configuration data (Company Name, Logo, WhatsApp Number), Financial data related to your Wallet.
  • For Customers: Contact information (Beneficiary Phone Number, Payment Mobile Money Number), Transaction details (Product purchased, Amount paid).
  • Automatically Collected Data: Device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

  • Create and manage Agent accounts and storefronts.
  • Process data bundle purchases and deliver them.
  • Facilitate payments through our third-party payment gateway (Moolre).
  • Calculate and credit commissions to Agent Wallets.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience.
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions and protect against criminal activity.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the circumstances described below:

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We share information with our payment gateway (Moolre) to process payments.
  • With Agents: An Agent can view the transaction details of purchases made through their specific storefront link.
  • By Law or to Protect Rights: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law to comply with legal processes or protect the rights and safety of our company, users, or the public.

4. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

5. Your Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal restrictions.
